In one line
A merge game where gravity works backwards: you shoot moons upward, they climb, collide and merge, and the pile grows down toward you.
In one paragraph
KUIPER takes the merge formula everyone knows from Suika Game and flips it. You pull down to aim and everything you launch falls up. Two equal bodies merge into the next one, from dust to moon to planet to sun, until a pulsar is born, and joining two pulsars creates a singularity that drags the whole pile. Because the pile grows toward you, every habit from other merge games works against you. It is real physics on every shot, nothing is scripted.
What is in the game
- A campaign of 24 hand-tuned levels in 6 galaxies, each ending with a boss level that breaks one rule (no bombs, falling junk, a crowded board).
- An endless mode with a worldwide monthly ranking and per-level world records.
- Four ships unlocked by playing, each with its own laser and ability (foresight, retention, the Devourer's shockwave).
- The Prism: one shot that takes every moon on the board. The Impulse: a wave that sweeps the pile.
- Three stars per level, pilots that blink and smile, and a secret almost nobody reaches: the singularity.
- Completely free, playable offline. No ads and no in-app purchases.
Coverage
Angles for a story
- "Suika, upside down." The one change that breaks the intuition of a whole genre.
- Made by one person, in the evenings, in a single HTML file with real physics, and shipped to 13 languages.
- The backend gets blocked in Spain on football matchdays. LaLiga's court-ordered IP blocks hit the game's Cloudflare range 12 days in three weeks; the developer measured it and built a failover to a 4 € server in Germany. Full write-up with data: playkuiper.com/laliga-en.
